Children and young adults
Jody Marten has extensive experience in immigration law, both in working in the government and in private practice.
She specializes in naturalization for children and young adults in addition to the intercountry aspects of adoption.
She developed the Children's Citizenship Project to ensure that all foreign born children eligible for citizenship in the United States become documented citizens. Through this project she is reaching out to the parents of children eligible for citizenship and to other young persons eligible for naturalization to assist them with the process.
Athletes
Students coming to the United States as student athletes need proper visas. Jody Marten assists international students who need F-1 visas to study in the US.
She also represents international athletes seeking O-1 and P-1 visas for employment in US.
Expert Witness-
Jody Marten serves as an expert witness for adoption service providers and for prospective adoptive parents with their issues before the Department of State and the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service.
