
Jody Marten has 20 years experience in all
aspects of immigration and citizenship law.
She has worked for the US Immigration
and Naturalization Service (INS). She was
senior attorney and deputy director for the
US Catholic Conference Office of
Migration and Refugee Services and the
Catholic Legal Immigration Network, Inc.
She also served as Director of Public
Policy for the Joint Council on
International Children's Services. Currently
she is in private practice.
Her specialty is helping children through
the immigration and citizenship process.
While at the INS, she drafted some of the
agency's regulations regarding children and
citizenship. She organized the agency's first
summit on international adoption. Her
private practice focuses on intercountry
adoption and citizenship for children.
